Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Astromira collects, why, where it is stored and what rights you have. The controller of your data is Adriatic Apps d.o.o., [Street and number], [Postcode] [City], Croatia, OIB [OIB]. Contact us about privacy at hello@astromira.app.

1. The short version

  • To calculate a chart we need your date of birth and, for the rising sign and houses, the time and place of birth. The free calculators work without an account and do not save these details.
  • If you give us your email or buy a report, we store your birth details with your account so we can build your report and personal forecasts. They are stored in the European Union only.
  • Reports and forecasts are written with the help of an AI model running in the EU. The model receives the positions in your chart and the topics you chose, never your name, email, birth date, time or place.
  • Advertising platforms never receive your birth details, your chart or your answers. If you allow advertising cookies, they only learn that you arrived from an ad and whether you signed up or bought.
  • We never sell your data. You can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time.

2. What we collect

On the free calculators they are processed on our server for that one calculation and kept only in your browser afterwards.Taking steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b))
If you continue to the personal report: your birth details, a first name or nickname if you give one, and your answers to the short questions (for example, which topics matter to you and whether you are in a relationship)To write your report and personal forecasts and show them on all your devicesContract (Art. 6(1)(b))

Record of your consent (time and wording)To prove we have your consentLegal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))
Purchases: product, price, currency, country, Stripe customer and payment identifiers, subscription status, invoices, withdrawal and refund requestsTo give you what you bought, handle refunds and keep accounting recordsContract (Art. 6(1)(b)); legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) for tax records
Campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_campaign and similar), browser type, the language you used the site inTo understand which ads and pages work, and to keep the Service secureLegitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f))
If you accept analytics cookies: which pages and steps you viewed, which calculator you used and whether the time of birth was known, which product you picked, whether checkout was opened or completed, which features you used, browser and device type, approximate locationTo see which parts of the site work and improve themYour consent (Art. 6(1)(a))
If you accept advertising cookies: that you opened a calculator page after an ad, gave your email, opened checkout or bought (with the price and currency), plus the ad click identifier, browser, device and IP address that Google and Meta receive with itTo measure which ads bring people who sign up or buyYour consent (Art. 6(1)(a))
Messages you send usTo answer youLegitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f))

Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland). Stripe receives your card or wallet details directly; we never see your full card number. We pass Stripe your email, the product you chose and your country for tax, never your birth details or chart. Stripe also processes payment data to prevent fraud as an independent controller under its privacy policy.

3. Cookies and tracking

Necessary. We remember your language and your cookie choice. When you sign in, we set a cookie that keeps you signed in. The calculators keep your last chart in your browser's local storage so you don't have to type it again; you can clear it in your browser. During checkout Stripe sets cookies it needs to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.

The cookie banner asks about analytics and advertising separately. You can accept both, decline both, or choose one with “Choose”. Nothing below runs until you answer.

Analytics, only if you allow it. We use PostHog (EU servers) to count the events listed in section 2. PostHog stores a random identifier in a cookie and in local storage to tell visits apart, and receives your browser type, device and approximate location from your IP address. It never receives your birth details, your chart, your answers or your email address; web addresses are sent without any parameters except campaign tags. We do not record your screen, clicks or mouse movements.

Advertising, only if you allow it. If you allow advertising, we load the Google Ads tag (Google Ireland Ltd.) and the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) on our home and calculator pages only. They receive exactly these events: that the page was opened, that you gave your email (not the email itself), that checkout was opened, and that you bought, with the price and currency. With each event they also receive the page address (only the home or calculator page, with campaign tags and the ad click identifier), your IP address, browser and device, and they store their own identifier in a cookie (_gcl_au, _fbp and similar). We switch off Google signals, ad personalisation from our site and Meta's automatic event collection. Google and Meta act as joint controllers with us for collecting and sending this data, and as independent controllers for what they do with it afterwards, under their own privacy policies (Google, Meta).

You can change either choice at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw advertising consent, we stop the tags and delete their cookies from your browser.

4. AI-written reports

Your report, forecasts and answers in the chat are written by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude, run for us by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL in the EU). For each text we send the model: the signs, degrees, houses and aspects in your chart (and, for compatibility, in the other chart), today's planetary positions for forecasts, the topics you chose, the language, and a first name or nickname only if you entered one. We never send your email, birth date, birth time or birthplace. The provider does not use this data to train models and does not keep it after answering. Texts are labelled as AI-written. They are for self-reflection and entertainment; they are not facts or predictions you should rely on for decisions about health, money, law or relationships.

Each provider is bound by a data processing agreement. Where data may be accessed outside the EU, transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Birth details are stored and processed in the EU only.

6. How long we keep it

  • Free calculators: birth details are not stored on our side; your browser keeps your last chart until you clear it.
  • If you gave your email but did not buy: up to 12 months, then we delete it.
  • If you bought a report or subscribe: as long as your account exists, so you can open your report again. Ask us and we will delete it; your report is then gone.
  • Invoices and payment records: as long as Croatian tax law requires (currently 11 years).
  • Analytics data (if you accepted analytics cookies): up to 12 months.
  • Consent records: as long as we hold the data they relate to, and up to 3 years after.

7. Automated texts

Charts are calculated and texts written automatically. This only decides what you read; it has no legal or similarly significant effect on you.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of your data, or send it to another service in a common format;
  • correct data that is wrong;
  • delete your data;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect what we did before.

Write to hello@astromira.app from the email address you used. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP, azop.hr) or to the data protection authority where you live.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only our server can read the database; it cannot be accessed from the browser. Access for our team is limited to what each person needs.

10. Adults only

The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

We will update this page when what we do with data changes, and email you before any change that affects you significantly.
