What is a birth chart?
A birth chart, also called a natal chart, is a map of the sky at the exact moment and place you were born. It shows which signs the Sun, Moon and planets were in, along with your rising sign and the twelve houses.
Your star sign is only one piece of it. A birth chart also shows your Moon sign, the sign that was rising and how fire, earth, air and water are balanced in you. Many people use it as a starting point for thinking about their strengths, needs and patterns.
To calculate your birth chart you need your date, place and ideally time of birth; without the time, the rising sign and houses are missing. The interpretation is symbolic: an invitation to reflect, not a prediction.

What does a birth chart show?
It is a snapshot of the sky at the moment and place you were born: where the Sun, Moon and planets were, which sign was rising on the horizon and how the twelve houses fall. In astrology it works as a map for asking yourself good questions.
Is it really free?
Yes. Your result shows up straight away, with no email needed: the chart wheel, your Sun, Moon and rising sign, all the planets, the elements and, if you know your birth time, the houses. Everything else is optional.
Why does the birth time matter so much?
The rising sign changes roughly every two hours and the houses even faster, so 15 minutes can make a difference. Your exact time is usually on your birth certificate. Without it, we calculate everything the date allows and tell you clearly what is missing.
How accurate is it?
We compute positions with astronomical formulas, accurate to a fraction of a degree, using the tropical zodiac and Placidus houses (whole-sign houses at polar latitudes). The interpretation is astrology: a symbolic system for reflecting on yourself, not science and not a prediction. Keep what helps and leave the rest.
What happens to my data?
On the free calculators, your birth details are processed on our servers in the EU for that one calculation and are not stored. Your browser remembers your last entry locally on your device. We only store them (in the EU) if you continue to the personal report and give us your email. They are never sent to ad networks or tracking pixels.
